The implementation of the People’s Oriented Program (POPI) is a national non-governmental development organization aimed at creating an intelligent nation free from hunger and poverty, where every citizen lives in dignity and equity. It currently has 40 diversified development partners with government agencies, development partnerships with MFIs and other financial institutions at the international, national and regional levels. Currently it has implemented multi-sectoral social economic development projects and programs throughout the country.

POPI invites applications from experienced experienced professionals, has the opportunity to apply for the following positions for the development of its stability, for the following positions (Career-2 program supported by CARE). Workshop workshops are 4 Upazilas of Kishoreganj district (Nikli, Itna, Mithamain and Ostgram) and 3 upazilas of the Netrokona district (Madan, Kalmakanda and Khaliajuri).

Position Title: Technical Officer – Agriculture Proficiency and Stability.

Location of the post: Upazila level of Kishoreganj and Netrokona district.
Contract Period: Until 2020 June.
Salary: B.3,500 / – and other acceptable facilities for program allocation.
Key Responsibilities:

The Technical Officer of Agricultural livelihood and stability (LLR) is responsible for building the power of field instructor (AL & R) and providing support for the work of leaders and related community leaders to better understand the goals, objectives, strategies, field modules of the SHAHHARDO III program. And guidance etc. and will be able to implement the activities in an integrated, quality and sustainable manner. He / she will guide FTS to prepare and implement their work plans. T-LLRR will be responsible for linking the relevant government, NGOs, UP, UDMC, school and private sector actors communities. The S / S will also examine samples of FTs’ work to ensure integration, quality implementation and impact of fieldwork activities.

Undergraduate / Graduate (Honors) Agricultural or any other department should have at least 5 years relevant work experience.
Ability to write computer / laptop and write basic reports
Good communication and convenience ability
Computer skills
Ability to establish contact with the government and upazila agriculture officers, upazila livestock officers, upazila fisheries officers, seed dealers, research institutes and the elected representatives at the upazila level.
Experience working with multi-interference programs
Good oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
Technical Officer-Agricultural livelihood and stability should be given preference for recruitment from concerned districts or from the respective departments.
