সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে প্রাক-প্রাথমিকে নতুন করে আরো ২৬,৩৬৬ জন শিক্ষক নিয়োগ দেবে প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়। চলতি বছরের (২০১৯) নভেম্বরে এ সংক্রান্ত নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করা হবে। এই নিয়োগ কার্যক্রমে নারী-পুরুষ উভয়ের শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা স্নাতক বা ডিগ্রি পাস নির্ধারণ করা হবে।
এ ব্যাপারে প্রাথমিক ও গণশিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ের অতিরিক্ত সচিব (বিদ্যালয়) মো. বদরুল হাসান বাবুল গণমাধ্যমকে বলেন, প্রাথমিকে সহকারী শিক্ষক নিয়োগ কার্যক্রম শেষে নভেম্বরে প্রাক-প্রাথমিক পর্যায়ে ২৬,৩৬৬ শিক্ষক নিয়োগ কার্যক্রম শুরু হবে। নভেম্বরের (২০১৯) মাঝামাঝি এ নিয়োগের বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশের সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে।
তিনি আরো জানান, দেশের ৬৫,০০০ সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে প্রাক-প্রাথমিক শিক্ষক নিয়োগ দেয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে। প্রথম ধাপে এ স্তরে ২৬ হাজারের বেশি নিয়োগ দেয়া হবে। নিয়োগ সংক্রান্ত অনুমোদন সংক্রান্ত কার্যক্রম অক্টোবরের মধ্যে শেষ হবে। এরপর নভেম্বরে নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করা হবে।
