Educational Qualifications:
Admission to Bachelor or Undergraduate level requires at least 12 years of educational qualification. A master’s or graduate degree requires a minimum of 18 years of educational qualification, meaning that anyone with a 4-year bachelor’s degree from Bangladesh will be eligible to apply for a master’s degree, although admission to a top Canadian university may require a master’s degree from Bangladesh in addition to outstanding academic qualifications.
TOEFL or IELTS score

Although TOEFL or IELTS scores are compulsory as a language qualification for English language institutes, GMAT and GRE are mandatory especially in the field (in case of admission to top universities). Although there is no TOEFL or IELTS score, almost all institutions can qualify for a conditional acceptance letter or admission, but the condition is to take an ESL (English Second Language) basic course to master English before the main course begins. The problem is that in the case of Bangladeshi students, it is almost impossible to get a visa for an ESL course with a conditional acceptance letter without a TOEFL or IELTS score. However, this does not apply to those whose parents have a lot of taxable money in their bank.

How is the tuition fee?
Tuition fees are not the same at all Canadian universities. Tuition fees vary by region and teaching program. International students have higher tuition fees than local students. The cost for undergraduate students will be 12 to 20 thousand Canadian dollars.

There are two language institutes for higher education in Canada – English and French. However, students from Bangladesh mainly study in English as a medium of higher education and the number of students who choose French as a medium of instruction is negligible. Of course, an international student can read either English or French, especially as many African students choose French as their medium of instruction.

Hostel and Accommodation:
International students have to stay in the university’s residential hall for the first six months. Later, they can stay off campus if they wish. In this case you have to apply to the authorities.
