Govt Free Course Application 2020

The Department of Youth Development will provide hands-on training to a total of 6360 people in four trades in different periods with a view to self-employment of unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 35 in the country. The training will be implemented through 64 district offices and youth training centers run by the department.

Training and tenure

Modern Office Management and Computer Application Trade is valid for 6 months. A total of 1460 people will be trained in this trade through 34 centers in 26 districts. 40 people will get opportunity in each center. The duration of training in block, batik and screen print trade is 4 months. The training will be imparted to a total of 250 people in 25 centers in 10 centers of the country’s divisional cities. The duration of training in readymade garments trade is 3 months. The training will be given in a total of 60 centers in 64 districts of the country. A total of 1650 people will be trained in each center. Over a three-month period, a total of 3,900 people will be trained in trade in cattle, poultry, first aid, fish farming and agriculture at 64 centers in 64 districts.

Qualification in trade

Those who have passed HSC can be admitted in Modern Office Management and Computer Application Trade. Candidates for the three trades of ‘Block, Batik and Screen Printing’, ‘Readymade Garments’ and ‘Livestock, Poultry, First Aid, Fisheries and Agriculture’ should have a minimum educational qualification of 8th or equivalent pass. Must be between 18 and 35 years of age and must be unemployed female or male. The age of freedom fighters quota candidates can be relaxed.

Application Procedure

Application forms prescribed by the Department of Youth Development can be found on the website www.dyd.gov.bd. In addition, free application forms can be collected from the office of the Deputy Director of each district, the coordinator / deputy co-ordinator of the youth training center and the office of the Upazila Youth Development Officer. The application should be filled and submitted to the office of the officer in charge of the respective district or upazila during office hours. A photocopy of Educational Qualification Certificate, a photocopy of National Identity Card or a photocopy of birth registration by the Chairman / Municipal Commissioner of the local Union Parishad and two newly taken passport size photographs should be attached with the application form.

Selection process and interview

After submitting the application, the application of the candidate will be verified and selected through the District Youth Development Department. Oral examinations or interviews will be conducted for selection of candidates in each trade. Interviews will be conducted at the respective district offices of the department. Modern office management and computer applications, block, batik and screen printing and readymade garments, cattle, poultry, first aid, fish farming and agricultural trade will be interviewed or orally examined. All the original documents should be kept with the selected candidates during the oral examination and at the time of admission. The decision of the Electoral Board regarding admission will be final. However, preference will be given to women candidates nominated by any youth organization.

 

Training fees

Nominal training fee will be charged from the candidates. Admission fee for Modern Office Management and Computer Application Trade will be 500 rupees. The course fee for block, batik and screen printing and readymade garments trade is Rs. 50. A deposit of Rs.100 / – for admission in trades related to cattle, poultry, first aid, fish farming and agriculture has to be deposited as security and it will be refunded at the end of the course. Admission fee has to be paid at the time of admission in all trades.

There is housing and honorarium

According to sources, candidates for the three trades মড Modern Office Management and Computer Applications, Block, Batik and Screen Printing and Readymade Garments না do not have residential facilities, but do have housing facilities for cattle, poultry, first aid, fish farming and agricultural trades. Admitted and trained trainees will get the opportunity to stay in the youth training center free of cost. In that case you have to bear the other expenses including food. Apart from that, based on the attendance of the trainees of this trade, honorarium of Rs. 3000 per person per month will be given. If you take regular classes, you will get a total honorarium of Rs 9,000 in three months.

 

There are also loan facilities

According to the Department of Youth Development, there are many employment opportunities after the training of these job-oriented subjects. They are ahead of others in terms of experience as they are taught hand-to-hand work. After receiving the training, they can start working as entrepreneurs themselves, so there are job opportunities. Apart from that, after taking training, low interest loan facility is given to the indigent. Candidates who have undergone three or six months training for any career oriented job are given loan facility up to a maximum of one lakh rupees. The loan was given from the department’s own fund. The authority of the department gives the borrower the opportunity to repay the loan in monthly installments.

For training and admission, one has to contact the office of the Deputy Director of Youth Development in their respective districts. Apart from this, the office of the Co-ordinator / Deputy Co-ordinator of the Upazila Youth Training Center in each district and the office of the Youth Development Officer of the respective Upazila will also get the necessary information.
