11. If the salary of A is 35 percent higher than the salary of B, then how much money is less than the salary of B’s salary?

?

Solution

A salary of A is 35 paise higher than the salary of 100. So the salary of A is 100 + 35 = 135.

B’s salary is less than Tk 35 in less than 135

Percentage less = (35/135) * 100

= 25.93

High: 25.93

.

12. If you sell every dime, you will get 20% profit per dozen oranges at 75 rupees.

?

Solution

1 dozen = 3 hali

3 Honey orange worth 75 taka

Buy 1 hali orange (75/3)

= $ 25

Percent Profit = {(Sales Price / Purchase Price} * 100

Or, {(sale price-purchase price) / purchase price} * 100 = percentage profit

Or, sales price-purchase price = (purchase price * percentage profit) / 100

Or, the sale price – 25 = (25 * 20) / 100

Or, the sale price – 25 = 500/100

Or, the sale price – 25 = 5

Or, sales price = 25 + 5

Or, the sale price = 30

Answer: 30 rupees

13. The sale price of a vehicle is equal to 4/5 of its purchase price. What is the profit or loss rate?

Solution

If the purchase price is 1, the sale price 4/5

Less than 4/5 smaller. So it will be damaged.

Damage = Purchase Price – Sales Price

= 1- (4/5)

= 1/5

Percentage loss = (loss / purchase price) * 100

= {(1/5) / 1} * 100

= 20

Answer: -20%

14. 5 + 8 + 11 + 14 + ………. Which of the terms 383?

?

Solution: –

The general heart of the article, d = (8-5) = 3

First term a = 5

I think,

nth terms = 383

a + (n-1) d = 383

5 + (n-1) 3 = 383

3n-3 = 378

3n = 381

n = 127

Answer: 127

15. The age of the father and the son is 50 years, when the age of the father is equal to the present age of the father, then the age of their age will be 102 years, what is the age of the son?

?

Solution:

Think, the current age of the son = x years

Then the present age of the father = 50-x years

The age of the son increases the father’s current age

If it is equal to 50-x then the son’s age

Increases = 50-x-x = 50-2x

Then the father’s age will increase = 50-x + 50-2x = 100-3x

In condition,

50-x + 100-3x = 102

Or, 150-4x = 102

Or, -4x = 102-150

Or, -4x = -48

Or, 4x = 48

Or, x = 48 ÷ 4

Or, x = 12

Answer: 12 years.
