Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) was established in accordance with Article 10 of the Bangladesh Industrial Order (Nationalization) Order 1972 (President’s Order Number 27, 1972) for the control, inspection and coordination of nationalized jute mills.
BJMC is managed by the Board of Directors under the chairmanship of the chairman. At present, there are 26 matches, including 3 non-jute organizations under thisorganization. 7 areas under Dhaka region, 10 under Chittagong region and 9 in Khulna region. BJMC has two regional offices for monitoring and coordinating regional mills.For the control and inspection of the activities of each mill, there is a board of directors under the chairmanship of any director of BJMC and the Ministry of Textile and Jute, Ministry of Finance, BJMC and the nominated representatives of the bank.
